Ross W. Newman is the visionary founder and CEO of Innovative Health Research (IHR), a pioneering company in clinical research with a rich history of contributing to medical advancements. With over three decades of experience in the healthcare and clinical research industry, Ross has been instrumental in establishing and managing multiple clinical study sites across Phoenix, Walnut Creek, and Las Vegas. Under his leadership, IHR has conducted numerous successful clinical trials, driving forward innovations in healthcare.


Ross’s academic background is in Political Demography, with undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, and a PhD candidacy in Epistemology. His career is marked by a series of successful entrepreneurial ventures and significant contributions to the medical field. Notably, he co-founded the Osteoporosis Resource Center, developed the Immunology Reference Laboratory, and served as a consultant and site director for Sierra Health Services Inc.


Beyond his entrepreneurial endeavors, Ross has played a crucial role in various consulting and investment projects. He has been a correspondent investment banker for Allen & Co, making strategic investments in groundbreaking medical research, including Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis and biologics for lupus and rheumatoid arthritis.


Ross’s diverse experience also includes leadership roles in non-medical ventures, such as serving as a crew member in the Earthwinds balloon project and owning an air ambulance service. His dedication to the healthcare industry is further demonstrated by his pro bono work as a clinical design consultant and his involvement in the Southern Nevada Medical Industry Coalition.
